Limited Warranty

This warranty applies to all METAGEAR PC systems and tech products sold on or after January 1, 2024, and is subject to change at METAGEAR’s sole discretion. Your purchase signifies your acknowledgment and agreement to the terms of this Limited Warranty.

Overview

All NEW METAGEAR products come with a 2-year hardware and labor warranty for the original purchaser from the date of purchase.
Warranty for the “Gaming PCs” includes all internal hardware components as advertised on METAGEAR’s website but excludes any special-order parts specifically requested by the purchaser. Such parts are subject only to the original manufacturer’s warranty.

METAGEAR provides a 90-day warranty for certified refurbished systems. We offer repairs and replacements under this limited warranty, with the option at our discretion to repair or replace the system with an equivalent model.

Warranty Terms

If your product doesn’t operate per its technical specifications, it will be repaired or replaced at METAGEAR’s expense. We may provide new or refurbished products if a direct replacement isn’t feasible.

To claim warranty service, return the product to the original place of purchase or as directed by us, with the original sales receipt. Shipping and handling charges, as well as any applicable tariffs, duties, taxes, or fees, that may apply are handled by us within Cyprus or by the purchaser in any other country.

Any product replaced under warranty will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or for 30 days, whichever is longer, or as required by local law.

Repairs may be ineligible for warranty service if:

  • The warranty period has expired.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Damage is due to accidents or unauthorized modifications.
  • Issues arise from any third-party software.
  • Damage due to neglect by you or someone else (such as not using a power surge protector).
  • Operating the product contrary to our or the manufacturer’s recommendations (for example, in a poorly ventilated, overly warm, or dusty setting).
  • Not adhering to the instructions provided by the manufacturer.
  • Any modifications or repairs done without approval from the manufacturer.
  • Natural phenomena (like storms and other natural disasters), fires, pets, problems with the electricity supply, and water damage.
  • Invasion by insects, rodents, or any other foreign bodies into the product.
  • Utilizing the product with an alternative power supply (like solar panels, inverters, generators, etc.), which we do not recommend for powering your product.
  • The system is obsolete or discontinued. In such cases, an equivalent or similar function and capacity item will be provided at our discretion.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover damages from normal wear and tear, modifications, misuse, accidents, or improper operation. Counterfeit products or removal of serial numbers voids this warranty.

This warranty does not cover counterfeit products. Counterfeit products are defined as any items that METAGEAR, based solely on its judgment, identifies as not having been produced by METAGEAR or its approved manufacturing affiliates.

IMPORTANT: Counterfeit items will be subject to investigation and will not be sent back.

Data Loss

METAGEAR is not responsible for data loss. Ensure you back up your data before submitting your system for warranty service.

Before dispatching your system for a replacement, it is advisable to:

  • Secure a backup of all data and clear any sensitive, proprietary, or personal details from the device.
  • Detach any solid-state drives (SSDs) or DRAM you’ve added after the purchase.

Limited Liability

By sending in your computer for warranty service, you confirm that it does not contain any unlawful data, unauthorized software, or any third party’s confidential or proprietary information.

METAGEAR will not be held accountable for any specific, incidental, indirect, or consequential losses or damages under any circumstances, unless such limitations are disallowed by relevant law. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Any loss of profit, revenue, or data, whether incurred directly or indirectly.
  • Any commercial losses resulting from a breach of any stated or implied warranty.

Please be aware that METAGEAR does not provide warranty coverage for any additional components not originally purchased from METAGEAR.

Furthermore, METAGEAR does not assume responsibility for any damage that occurs during transit. Should you choose, METAGEAR offers a deep-cleaning service for your product at a fee of €50.00 EURO.

It’s important to note that if you decide to repurchase the product from a different retailer, METAGEAR will not offer compensation for the expense.

How to Make a Claim

For warranty claims, contact us through our customer service system. You’ll need to provide proof of purchase and a photo of the product serial number. Following approval, we will provide you with return instructions.

Do not return products without prior authorization. Use only approved packaging for returns to avoid damage and ensure accessories are not included with warranty returns.

Upon receipt, we will conduct diagnostics to determine the need for repair or replacement. If no defect covered by warranty is found, charges may apply for testing and return shipping.
